As well as providing a huge inspiration, these seasons of transition are a fantastic opportunity to look inward, reflect, reset and find momentum for any change in your life. The yoga retreat takes place over four days and three nights from Friday 15th November - Sunday 17th November 2019.

A secret garden awaits...in this ultimate superluxe hideaway.

The Walled Garden of Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk is your reTREAT for 3 days - you can revel in the glory of the rolling English countryside.
What was once the Sibton Park estate’s original flower and vegetable garden has been transformed into an eight bedroom retreat with en suite king-size bedrooms featuring roll-top baths and stunning living spaces from the vaulted ceiling central dining hall bookended by French limestone fireplaces to the breathtaking cinema and games room.

Three elegant glasshouses, where we will do yoga, engage in conversation and nourish our bodies were inspired by neoclassical designs. The kitchen, a ‘hub of the house’ is the largest of the glasshouses, think underfloor heating and comfy sofas.

Comfort is key – the king-sized beds are made by Hypnos, the same bed company that supply Buckingham Palace. Each room is uniquely decorated with contemporary farmhouse charm. The real focal points are the baths; most rooms feature standalone, vintage-style tubs with mounted antique taps.

Outside, explore the restored high walls of the one-acre private kitchen garden and discover the espaliered fruit trees (replanted exactly as they were in Victorian times). Wilderness is nestled in 5,000 acres across three river valleys in the county boasting some of the cleanest air in England, yet just a short drive from Suffolk’s celebrated heritage coast.

The food offered on the Radiate retreat will be lovingly prepared for you, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a clean, balanced and seasonal diet.

With expert knowledge, each menu will be plant-based. Nourish your mind, body and soul with wholesome, vibrant and unrefined foods benefiting both our bodies and our planet. The delicious vegetarian brunches, snacks and dinners will leave you feeling light and energised but never hungry!

YOUR YOGI - EMILY SCOTT

Leading us through our yoga journey for this empowering weekend will be the wonderful Emily Scott.
Emily is a full-time yogi who specialises in teaching hot yoga, restorative yoga, vinyasa flow, and yin yoga.

Emily Scott and Ottilie Wellness have worked together since Spring 2017 hosting monthly yoga brunches, wellness events and retreats in stunning venues across Sussex. More recently Emily is a featured writer on the Ottilie Wellness blog.
This winning combination of like-minded souls both share a passion for yoga, authentic, honest and deep living.

Originally from California with a background in dance, Emily has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2014. She has completed a 200-hour vinyasa flow certification with YogaLondon and a 35 hour restorative yoga training with Anna Ashby at Triyoga. She has also been mentored by Naomi Absalom for the past year and a half. She enjoys teaching a slow but strong vinyasa flow, mixed in with pranayama, restorative, and yoga nidra. Students describe her style as down-to-earth, challenging but accessible, focused on breath and alignment, and sometimes even a little funny. She aims to create a space for people to improve their lives from the inside out.

The goal this time is to leave feeling like you’ve had a complete system reset… with the body, mind, and spirit refreshed and rejuvenated.
Emily enjoys teaching a slow but strong vinyasa flow, but also expect lots of restorative yoga, pranayama, and yoga nidra. All levels are completely welcome. 

It is such a treat to spend the whole weekend practising with Emily - if nothing else you may take away a little quirky Californian twang!
