SPRING YOGA BRUNCH

On the 11th May we successfully launched the first Yoga Brunch. It was a wonderful morning. As I get ready for our next one tomorrow I am reflecting on what a great atmosphere it was. All the women who came really entered into the space of self-care. Taking time out to nurture themselves and nourish their bodies with whole real food and a restoring yoga practice.

Just to turn up at new events can often be intimidating when you don't know what to expect. Most of the yogis who attended the Spring Yoga Brunch were newbies to yoga, however all of them entered into the whole principle of yoga - that turning up on your mat is enough, that is the practice. You may spend 75 minutes in child's pose but to have the mindset to take time out, to slow down, to focus on yourself and how you feel is what Ottilie is all about. When you check in with yourself like this the benefits to how you deal with your day and care for those around you suddenly seem easier.
